Soul Slaughter
On Sunday, October 30th, the Society was joined by Toronto Fire Services, MPP Jagmeet Singh, Councillor Gurpreet Dhillon, and Trustee Harkirat Singh in Downtown Toronto. While at Nathan Phillips Square, we participated in the Soul Slaughter event to create awareness and understanding of the Sikh community and the injustices they have faced throughout time. Additionally, we looked at how everyone, as a worldwide community, can come together and fight for the restoration of human rights. Here are some pictures from the event:
